DXC Luxoft is seeking an experienced Murex Front Office Support Analyst (RTB) to provide dedicated Level 1 application support across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) trading hours. In this role, you will support critical trading desks and operations, focusing on trade lifecycle management, valuation, and feed monitoring across Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD), FX/Currency Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, and Fixed Income.
This is a Front Office Run-the-Bank (RTB) position operating on an APAC schedule (8-hour standard coverage, plus a rotational half-day shift every 4th weekend), responsible for maintaining operational stability, troubleshooting trade capture interfaces, managing static data, and ensuring seamless follow-the-sun handovers to global teams.
Provide dedicated front office (FO) RTB application support for Murex during APAC trading hours, resolving live incidents related to trade booking, valuation, and P&L.
Monitor, triage, and troubleshoot upstream trade flows originating from platforms like Tradeweb and FMC arriving via XML messages through MxML Exchange workflows.
Manage downstream trade dissemination and status tracking driven by post-trade workflow configurations (excluding clearing/settlement and accounting modules).
Maintain and update operational static data within Murex, including counterparties, market rate mappings, new credit index issuers, and index constituents.
Perform database diagnostics and data validation using Sybase SQL (read-only queries, table joins) and submit structured remediation requests via PC Lite for DBA execution.
Maintain Murex Simulation Views and Datamart extractions to support daily desk queries and end-of-day operational checks.
Coordinate and document comprehensive end-of-shift operational handovers to ensure continuity for incoming Western-hemisphere support teams.
Support minor Change-the-Bank (CTB) activities on an as-needed basis, including testing configuration patches, updating templates, and verifying release deployments.
Participate in rotational weekend coverage (half-day shift every 4th weekend).
Must have
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Murex Front Office / RTB application support experience within capital markets, investment banking, or hedge fund environments.
Product Knowledge: Strong functional understanding of trade lifecycles, booking conventions, valuation, and P&L concepts for Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD), FX / Currency Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, and Fixed Income.
Murex Functional Modules: Hands-on operational experience with Murex Simulation Views, MxML Exchange workflows, and Datamart.
Interface & Upstream Processing: Practical understanding of electronic trade capture and message intake (Tradeweb, FMC, XML feeds).
Static Data Configuration: Demonstrated proficiency in maintaining and configuring operational static data, counterparty records, financial market rate mappings, and credit index constituents/issuers.
Database & Querying: Solid working knowledge of Sybase SQL for diagnostics and troubleshooting (SELECT statements, multi-table JOINs, filtering).
Operational Execution: Proven experience working in a fast-paced RTB support desk with disciplined shift-handover routines.
Location & Working Hours: Based within the APAC time zone, able to cover an 8-hour daily shift and rotational weekend coverage (half-day every 4th weekend).
Nice to have
Experience with Murex Pre-Trade and Post-Trade workflow configuration and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Murex e-Tradepad configuration and monitoring.
Experience raising database change scripts through formalized ticket workflows (PC Lite / JIRA / ServiceNow).
Basic Unix / Linux navigation commands for log file inspection and process monitoring.
