The Senior Front Office Murex Business Analyst will play a key role in the delivery of a Murex implementation for commodities (Metals)

The role is responsible for bridging business requirements and Murex solution design, working closely with Traders, Trading Analysts, Risk Managers, Product Control, IT, and Murex consultants to ensure the successful implementation of Front Office trading, valuation, risk, and position management capabilities.

The successful candidate will have deep expertise in Murex Front Office modules, commodities trading, derivatives lifecycle management, and trading platform transformation programmes. The role will support requirements gathering, functional design, testing, data validation, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements gathering workshops with Front Office stakeholders.

Analyse and document business processes, workflows, and target operating models.

Capture and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

Produce Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional

Specifications (FSDs), User Stories and Process Flows.

Act as the liaison between traders, business users, solution architects and Murex configuration teams.

Murex Functional Design :

bullet icon

Define Murex Front Office configuration requirements.

bullet icon

Review product setup and pricing configuration.

bullet icon

Work with Murex specialists to design booking models and trade workflows.

Define valuation, pricing, and market data requirements.

bullet icon

Validate Front Office reports, dashboards, and analytics.

bullet icon

Ensure standard Murex functionality is leveraged wherever possible.

Market Data & Pricing :

Define requirements for market data sourcing and consumption.

Support integration with ZEMA and enterprise market data platforms.

Support curve-building and pricing validation activities.

Review valuation models and pricing outputs with traders and risk teams.

Skills

Must have
