Large bank in Saudi is looking for Murex production support consultant for environment end of day and market risk activities. It's a technical production support on EOD and risk.

Responsibilities
bullet icon

Monitor 2.11 and 3.1 EOD process through automated control-M tool and resolving issues. Make sure all jobs in batch completes on time.

Provide Level 2 Support for all EOD issues and making sure repeated issues are closed via problem management.

bullet icon

Perform EOD, create job, test run and test flow of EOD,

bullet icon

Troubleshooting issues related to failures during EOD, any user/trader issues, system failures and infrastructure issues.

Perform Pre EOD checks and monitor important EOD jobs.

bullet icon

Fix EOD issues, resolve issues like DataMart feeder failures, market data failure, user session running slow or session crashes and accounting EOD failures etc and escalate to Infrastructure teams.

Log and report all issues in batch.

bullet icon

Manage Market Risk related vendor deliveries, support and closure.

bullet icon

Coordinate with vendor for reported bugs, track fixes, deploy re-test and ensure quality on the technical deployment.

. Support users with SIT, UAT application access, best practices, limitations, etc., and securing sign off.

bullet icon

Monitor and tune performance of overall EOD.

Perform sanity checks in Murex UI such as workflows, real time data etc.

Perform ad hoc operational requests such as generating of on demand reports, file transfer, housekeeping activities

bullet icon

Liaise with vendor to run diagnostics and troubleshooting for EOD issues.

Skills

Must have

8 to 12 years of total experience

bullet icon

8-10 years of experience in Murex environment management

bullet icon

Proficient with murex EOD architecture, key services and end to end process

bullet icon

Good understand of murex log structure & artefact location

bullet icon

Datamart Dynamic tables/Feeders/batch Configuration, scanner templates, processing script definition

bullet icon

Knowledge of Scheduling tool such as control M, Autosys

bullet icon

Knowledge of DB fundamentals such as query plan, SQL, indexing

bullet icon

Murex Market risk experience
