We are looking for a highly skilled Murex Environment Consultant who can think out of the box and design an auto-scaling solution for our non-production environments. You will work closely with the Murex team to create scalable, efficient, and reliable systems that meet business and technical requirements.

Collaborate with Murex teams to integrate and optimize scaling capabilities.

Manage and fine-tune Kubernetes clusters to ensure performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Support and optimize application server setups and end-of-day (EOD) processes.

bullet icon

Identify and troubleshoot environment bottlenecks, providing sustainable engineering solutions.

bullet icon

Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.

bullet icon

Handles cloud Environment preparation, rebuild, upkeep, maintenance, and upgrade activities.

Ensure cloud cost optimization.

8+ Years of experience in Murex Environment Management

Must-Have Skills:

1. Strong Kubernetes Expertise

bullet icon

Experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes clusters

bullet icon

Understanding of auto-scaling strategies (HPA, VPA, Cluster Autoscaler)

bullet icon

Hands-on experience with Helm, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and service discovery

bullet icon

2. Infrastructure Engineering & Solutioning

bullet icon

Proven experience designing and implementing environment automation or optimization solutions

bullet icon

Ability to think innovatively and engineer custom solutions for complex setups

bullet icon

3. Murex Environment Experience

bullet icon

Familiarity with Murex application architecture (EOD processes, batch jobs, Murex settings, Parameters and configurations, etc.)

Understanding of dependencies and server orchestration in a Murex environment

bullet icon

Hands-on knowledge of application server configurations

bullet icon

Understanding of End-of-Day (EOD) process flows

bullet icon

Scripting (Perl, awk), SQL, Unix XML, RDMS Operation

Knowledge of Scheduling tool such as control M, Autosys

bullet icon

4. DevOps & Automation Tools

bullet icon

Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)

bullet icon

Familiarity with scripting (bash, ant, Python/Perl scripts on LINUX RHEL etc.) to automate operational tasks

5. Cloud & Container Platforms

bullet icon

Exposure to public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Experience in container orchestration, resource management, and monitoring

6. Problem Solving & Out-of-the-Box Thinking

Ability to approach environment engineering challenges creatively

Track record of independently driving POCs or automation initiatives
