Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.

The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

Responsibilities

Developer for datamart reporting team with the following responsibilities:

Gather and understand requirements, Impact analysis, cost estimation, production of comprehensive functional and technical specification

bullet icon

The development of enhancements to the Risk Systems. This will involve both 'hands on' development as well as working with vendor to deliver the solution

The implementation, customisation and support of vendor systems components (such as Murex Market Risk Limit Monitoring system)

bullet icon

System testing, trouble shooting, code review and quality control

bullet icon

Managing user's expectations

bullet icon

Offer third line support to the production support team

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

6-9 years of development experience, preferably working with Murex applications, strong experience on design and development of Datamart reports MX3.1

bullet icon

6-9 year experience working directly with users to gather/ analyse

bullet icon

Strong Knowledge in Datamart, SQL, Store Procedures

bullet icon

Java, Control M

bullet icon

Strong exposure of trade lifecycle across front office and middle office tiers

bullet icon

Practical knowledge of shell scripting

bullet icon

Ability to take responsibility for project/enhancement delivery from initiation to implementation and ensure delivery under tight schedules

bullet icon

Articulate with a high standard of written and verbal communication skills

bullet icon

Able to work with other teams and manage those teams to achieve project deliverables

Strong analytical skills and proactive in providing system solutions
