Responsibilities
bullet icon

Assess current Murex architecture, integration landscape, and operating model to identify gaps and improvement opportunities

bullet icon

Define and advise on the target operating model (TOM) for Murex covering integration, data, and end-to-end trade lifecycle

bullet icon

Provide strategic guidance on MX.3 integration capabilities (MxML, APIs, Connectivity 2.0, Datamart, market interfaces) within the TOM

bullet icon

Lead architecture design for scalable, resilient upstream and downstream integrations aligned to future-state objectives

bullet icon

Evaluate and rationalize existing interfaces, workflows, and end-of-day processes to improve efficiency and operability

bullet icon

Establish integration standards, patterns, and governance (real-time, batch, APIs, messaging) across the ecosystem

bullet icon

Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into architectural roadmaps and solutions

bullet icon

Support transformation initiatives including version upgrades, cloud readiness, and platform modernization

bullet icon

Oversee integration delivery quality through design reviews, testing strategy (SIT/UAT), and release governance

bullet icon

Provide ongoing advisory and thought leadership to ensure alignment of implementation with target architecture and operating model vision

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

-7-12 years of overall Murex experience with strong focus on integration and architecture

bullet icon

Hands-on expertise across MX.3 stack including trade interfaces, market data, Datamart, reporting, and EOD processes

bullet icon

Solid experience with MxML (Exchange/Workflows) and Murex integration frameworks and APIs

bullet icon

Strong understanding of integration patterns, messaging (MQ/Kafka), and real-time vs batch processing

bullet icon

Proven ability to design and bootstrap scalable technical solutions to solve business problems

bullet icon

Experience reviewing and defining architecture, integration flows, and system design patterns

bullet icon

Exposure to workflow orchestration and scheduler-driven processes (e.g., EOD cycles)

bullet icon

Familiarity with FX and derivatives business processes (Front Office exposure is a plus)

bullet icon

Strong problem-solving skills with ability to assess and improve existing solutions

bullet icon

Excellent communication skills with ability to engage business stakeholders, including Trading, FO, MO and BO
