Our Clients Operation division provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.
They have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Their Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation, and straight-through processing.

Responsibilities

The Lead Systems Analyst will be responsible for driving the design, delivery, and integration of Client's Tokenised Deposits Platform. This includes defining requirements for token lifecycle operations (issue, transfer, lock, redeem), on chain/off chain settlement, programmability features, and interoperability with payments, treasury, and liquidity systems.

This role partners with Payments, Technology, Architecture, Compliance, and Treasury teams to deliver a secure, regulated, production grade tokenised deposit infrastructure that supports domestic and cross border settlement use cases.

Key Responsibilities

Tokenised Deposits Platform Analysis & Solution Design

bullet icon

Lead end to end functional analysis for Clients tokenised deposit platform including:

bullet icon

Token issuance, minting, and burning

bullet icon

Transfer logic, atomic settlement, and conditional settlement rules

bullet icon

Token locking/unlocking, escrow, and programmability

bullet icon

Redemption and conversion back to traditional deposits

bullet icon

Define user journeys and system workflows for customers, operations, and treasury when interacting with tokenised deposits.

bullet icon

Design the full token lifecycle and state machine, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and reconciliation with core banking systems.

On Chain / Off Chain Integration & Settlement

bullet icon

Define integration patterns between:

bullet icon

DLT nodes and Clients tokenisation engine

bullet icon

Payment hubs and settlement processors

bullet icon

Core banking, deposit systems, and general ledger

bullet icon

AML, sanctions, transaction monitoring engines

bullet icon

Design settlement flows for:

bullet icon

Domestic payments using tokenised deposits

bullet icon

Cross border corridors leveraging tokenised deposits as settlement assets

Interbank or inter entity transfers on tokenised rails

Ensure deterministic, final and auditable settlement regardless of whether settlement occurs on chain or off chain.

Architecture & Platform Delivery Leadership

Work closely with Solution Architects to define:

Smart contract modules for deposit tokens

Token metadata standards, security constraints, and compliance hooks

Wallet integration (custodial / institutional / MPC-based)

Key management and signing workflows

bullet icon

Define API specifications and event models for token issuance, transfer, settlement, and reconciliation.

Support the overall platform design to achieve scalability, resilience, fault tolerance, and regulatory compliance.

Regulatory, Risk & Compliance Alignment

Translate MAS regulatory expectations regarding digitised deposits, DPT, stablecoins, and tokenised money into system requirements and controls.

Ensure compliance with AML/CFT screening, Travel Rule requirements, traceability, and token provenance rules.

Design audit trails, event logs, and monitoring capabilities for token movement and settlement.

Ensure TRM compliant architecture covering confidentiality, integrity, availability, and tamper proof recordkeeping.

Delivery & Engineering Support

Lead analysis workstreams across Agile squads delivering tokenised deposit capabilities.

Provide precise clarifications to developers on token logic, settlement rules, smart contract behaviour, and edge cases.

Support QA in designing and executing tests for:

Multi currency token issuance

Settlement finality and state transitions

Failure/retry, rollbacks, and operational exceptions

Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement

Collaborate with Blockchain and Digital Assets, Payments, Treasury, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to refine use cases and delivery scope.

Manage vendor interfaces for DLT platforms, tokenisation engines, custody providers, or digital asset infrastructure components.

Communicate platform behaviour, risk implications, and architectural decisions clearly across business and technology teams.

Skills

Must have

7-12 years of experience in Systems Analysis within Payments / Banking domain

Strong knowledge of tokenised deposits, digital assets, and blockchain architecture

Experience with DLT platforms and tokenisation systems

Strong expertise in:

API design (REST, JSON, OpenAPI)

Microservices architecture

Event-driven systems (Kafka or similar)
