Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America, are looking for Consultants to be part of the project.
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising, and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.
The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
You will be working in a newly set-up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
Provide L3 production support for Core Banking applications on AS400 platform, ensuring high availability and performance.
Perform incident, problem, and change management as per ITIL processes.
Analyze, debug, and resolve complex issues escalated from L2 support within agreed SLAs.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide permanent fixes for recurring issues.
Support Channels & EAI integrations and related interfaces.
Collaborate with development, testing, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure seamless resolution of issues.
Work on ALDON for automated software deployment and release management on AS400.
Ensure adherence to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring.
Provide support for payment systems and related processes in production environments.
Perform performance tuning, capacity monitoring, and batch job optimization.
Prepare technical documentation and knowledge articles for issue resolution and system improvements.
Must have
Experience Level: 3-5 years (L2/L3 Support background)
Core Platform: AS400
Database: DB2
Programming Languages: RPG, C, Java
OS: AS400
Tools: ALDON (automation tool for deployment), familiarity with DevOps tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
Strong understanding of Core Banking systems, Channels, and EAI
Hands-on experience in payment systems support
Good knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
