Together with the customer, we deliver top performance!

For a key client in the Insurance sector, we are seeking a Project Manager with a proven background in the Insurance domain. The primary objective is to support the incumbent PM in navigating customer's IT engagement framework and providing overarching project management support due to increased workload.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager is an agent of change with accountability for driving success over a full project or programme lifecycle.

The project manager designs, plans and implements projects and programmes, either standalone or as part of a larger programme, or programmes according to scope, targets and objectives set for time of delivery, budget and quality.

Key accountabilities include:

successful project/programme delivery in line with the defined success criteria and set goals

bullet icon

effective and consistent project/programme communications and reporting to business and IT stakeholders

bullet icon

smooth change deployment and handover to operations, driving quality and compliance

bullet icon

successful adoption of the solution, ensuring appropriate roll-out strategy and engagement

bullet icon

contribution and ongoing improvement of the project management tools and methodology (as part of the project management community)

Skills

Must have

Multi-Platform / Multi-Supplier Delivery Planning: Great experience pulling together a unified delivery plan across multiple platforms and multiple suppliers.

Collaboration & Communication: Great PM skills of collaborating with multiple team members, with great communication skills.

Rapid Execution: Confident in hitting the ground running.

bullet icon

Track Record of Delivery: Track record of IT and Business project delivery either within Aviva or other organizations.

Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder engagement and management experience as well as political awareness.

Leadership Experience: Experience of both line and matrix leadership.

Coaching & Influencing: Strong and effective coaching and influencing skills to drive the necessary changes.

Business Adaptability: Ability to rapidly gain knowledge of Business/Customer needs and drivers for change.
