For one of our clients in the Insurance Segment, we are looking for a Business Analyst with Insurance background

Responsibilities

We are seeking a strong Business Analyst to join an NDA-protected project (Quartz) within our Product workstream. The role involves working closely with product owners, technology teams, and business stakeholders to analyse requirements, support solution design, and enable successful delivery within a complex, large-scale programme environment. The Business Analyst will play a critical role in translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements while navigating ambiguity and complex problem spaces.

Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business and functional requirements for product initiatives.

Work closely with Product Owners and delivery teams to ensure requirements align with product vision and roadmap.

Support end-to-end product delivery across analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation phases.

Translate complex business problems into structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Manage and trace requirements throughout the lifecycle, ensuring alignment with delivered solutions.

Collaborate with technology teams to support solution design and clarify functional impacts.

Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts within a large-scale programme environment.

Support change management activities and ensure stakeholder alignment.

Contribute to continuous improvement of BA practices and standards within the product workstream.

Skills

Must have

Skills Required:

Strong experience as a Business Analyst within complex delivery environments.

bullet icon

Experience or knowledge of Life Insurance and Protection domains.

bullet icon

Proven ability to work through complex problems and ambiguous situations.

Experience working within large-scale programmes involving multiple teams and stakeholders.

bullet icon

Strong requirements management skills, including documentation and traceability.

bullet icon

Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

bullet icon

Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements.

bullet icon

Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid delivery models.

bullet icon

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Nice to have

Previous experience in London Markets group or Aviva would be a plus, but not obligatory
