The Chief Security Office (CSO) of our client comprises the Chief Information Security Office (CISO) and the Corporate Security unit. The CISO organization guarantees information security for our client.
Business Access, a part of the Chief Security Office, is responsible for designing and running services for logical access to business applications and data. This includes topics around access concepts, role & entitlement management, and the business product ownership for some of our client's authorization systems. This role will be part of the Role Management Operations team, whose purpose is to focus on the critical transition from an entitlements-based to a role-based access model, ensuring seamless business-as-usual activities during this strategic shift.

Job Purpose The Regular Role Management Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the Business As Usual (BAU) activities critical to the migration from an entitlements-based to a role-based access model, as well as supporting the corresponding processes introduced as a result of this migration, to ensure they run in line with our client's policies and controls. This role ensures the operational effectiveness and continuous improvement of Role Management processes, directly contributing to enhanced security, efficiency, and user experience.
Main Duties & Responsibilities The Role Management Business Analyst will:
Perform updates and maintenance of Active Directory (AD) groups utilized by Role reviewers, ensuring alignment with the role-based access model.
Engage with business stakeholders to accurately identify and retrieve correct approvers for access requests and role assignments.
Synchronize regularly with the IGA Platform Operations Team to ensure smooth execution of daily tasks and alignment of operational activities.
Implement and update policies related to role management and access governance, ensuring compliance and effectiveness usage of roles within the bank.
Manage and update Control Workbench, reflecting tasks and activities that need to be performed by the involved participants in the role review process.
Provide timely and effective user support for queries and issues related to role-based access.
Develop and deliver education and training programs to end-users and reviewers on role-based access concepts and processes.
Execute processes for impact assessments related to role updates, evaluating impacted areas and owners to engage with.
Collect feedback from business and IT roles reviewers and drive continuous improvements of designed Role Lifecycle Management (RLM) processes.
Act as a primary point of contact for Business & IT Roles reviewers, addressing their concerns and facilitating smooth operations.
Create, maintain, and update comprehensive Role Management documentation and KOP's on platforms like SharePoint and Confluence.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and Product Owner in order to understand, refine and validate requirements.
Understand Product priorities and support the Product Owner to take the right call based on data and priorities.
The Role Management Business Analyst will ensure that:
The newly introduced Role Lifecyle and Access Lifecyle processes are running in line with the defined guidelines.
All operational activities and documentation reflect the traceability of implemented deliverables back to original requirements.
Must have
2 years of relevant Operations Specialist or Business Analyst experience in a software-driven environment, ideally within banking or a similarly regulated environment.
Experience in the engineering and operational support of complex applications within the IAM area.
Practical experience in process improvement and feedback collection for operational enhancements.
Good understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts, particularly around role-based access control.
Experience with Active Directory (AD) group management and related tools.
Proficiency in managing and updating documentation and usage of platforms such as SharePoint and Confluence.
Ability to interact effectively with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve issues.
Experience in conducting user training and education programs.
Good understanding of IT concepts (e.g., database models, web services, APIs, system integrations).
Exposure to activity management using tools such as Atlassian JIRA.
Experience working with virtual and global teams in matrix organizations.
Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
