Graphics Software Engineer (GPU Performance & Rendering)

Luxoft, in collaboration with AMD, is seeking motivated engineers to join a dynamic team focused on evaluating, prototyping, and optimizing graphics and image-processing algorithms for next-generation GPU technologies. The team actively works on game-related technologies, performance profiling, shader development, and rendering pipeline enhancements.
GPU performance profiling and benchmarking
Evaluation and prototyping of image-processing algorithms
Shader development and optimization
Software development related to graphics pipelines and rendering
Close collaboration with AMD technical teams and active participation in agile processes (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, etc.)
Must have
Solid programming skills in modern C++.
Knowledge of GPU profiling tools and techniques (e.g., NVIDIA Nsight, RenderDoc).
Basic understanding of graphics programming concepts, rendering pipelines, and shader programming.
Experience working with and modifying HLSL shaders.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Ability to quickly prototype, benchmark, and iterate on software solutions.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal skills and teamwork capabilities.
Nice to have
PC gaming enthusiast with an understanding of gaming hardware and software.
Experience developing shaders from scratch.
Familiarity with DirectX, Vulkan, or other graphics APIs.
Active personal GitHub profile demonstrating passion for coding or personal projects.
Previous hands-on experience building and customizing PCs.
