The WMI Core stream provides Core Banking capabilities across WM International locations, and works towards integration and synergies across WMI locations, driving capability-driven and modular platform strategy for Core Banking.
You'll be working in the WMI Core Technology team in one of our locations (Hyderabad) as per your eligibility and role requirements. Together as a team, we provide solutions to unique business/market requirements.

Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our business divisions. Your role will involve:

Developing and maintaining web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.

bullet icon

Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other developers to create seamless user experiences.

bullet icon

Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

bullet icon

Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers.

bullet icon

Troubleshooting and debugging issues across the stack.

bullet icon

Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

bullet icon

Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computers or equivalent focusing code development and maintenance.

bullet icon

Ideally 8+ years of experience in a similar position focused on Core banking integration area in a development role.

bullet icon

Interested in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.

Strong exposure on Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Rest APIs, GraphQL APIs

bullet icon

Understanding of modern architecture and design patterns, including event driven systems and Microservices.

bullet icon

Good understanding of API and Integration concepts and technologies, such as REST, JSON, message queues, and Integration Pattern/frameworks.

bullet icon

Knowledge of SQL, RDBMS such as Oracle/PostgreSQL and Elastic Search

bullet icon

Strong working knowledge of Test-Driven Development using Junit / Mockito testing frameworks

bullet icon

Experience of working in any CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab)

bullet icon

Good troubleshooting skills and hands-on DevOps experience

bullet icon

Ability to collaborate with the onsite and offshore teams during solution delivery.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication and presentation skills

Highly proactive team player eager to support colleagues when needed.
