The Automotive practice inside DXC Luxoft delivers software projects to a majority of the world's car manufacturers and suppliers for both personal and commercial vehicles. We are known for our Automotive software expertise and for helping our customers with high quality services and deliveries.

We are looking for a Java Front‑End Developer to design, develop, and maintain user‑facing applications that interact with Java‑based systems. The role focuses on building responsive, user‑friendly interfaces while collaborating closely with backend, UX, and product teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.

The scope of the project is to develop a tool and enhance features to provide real‑time CI/CD execution insights, allowing developers to track commits, test results, and build status across product levels.
This assignment involves front‑end and back‑end development using technologies like Node.js, React, Next.js, REST APIs, MongoDB, Go, delivering end‑to‑end functionality from UI/UX improvements to system integrations and testing.

In this role, you’ll work with modern development tools, a microservice-oriented architecture and emerging technologies. You’ll have daily opportunities to learn from your peers, shape how we work, and contribute to building innovative, high-impact solutions.

Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into high‑quality code

Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product owners to deliver end‑to‑end features

Integrate front‑end applications with RESTful or GraphQL APIs

Rewriting selected Node.js microservices into Go for improved efficiency

Updating dependencies and Node.js runtime

bullet icon

Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and optimal performance

Integrating UI with backend services and external systems such as Slack, Teams, and Discourse

Creating end‑to‑end tests to secure backend quality

bullet icon

Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices

Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve UI and integration issues

Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and front‑end standards

Must have

Strong experience with modern front‑end development using Node.js, React, and Next.js for building and modernizing UI/UX features.

Proven ability to implement responsive, accessible, and high‑performance user interfaces based on modern UI/UX best practices.

Hands‑on experience integrating front‑end applications with RESTful APIs

bullet icon

Experience integrating applications with external collaboration systems such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Discourse, including thread creation and update handling.

Strong focus on end‑to‑end quality, including writing unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests to protect feature rollouts and prevent regressions.

Solid Node.js backend familiarity, including dependency management, Node.js runtime upgrades, and collaboration on backend services.

Experience with or readiness to contribute to rewriting Node.js microservices into Go (Golang) for improved efficiency and reliability.

Working knowledge of MongoDB and data transformation concepts to support Claim and git‑diff/changelog features.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including adding automated test coverage to safeguard future development and deployments.

Experience implementing or integrating web analytics to monitor feature usage and identify performance or usability bottlenecks.

Strong collaboration skills and experience working in Agile delivery models, including quarterly planning, sprint planning, reviews, and daily syncs.

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well‑structured code, and actively participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.

Willingness and ability to work closely on‑site during onboarding and collaborate effectively with customer teams thereafter.
