We are a top-tier Calypso Partner and a market leader in implementation, integration, upgrade, and migration.
We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered Calypso projects across all major asset classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, and insurance.

Project Description:
Implementation of Calypso instance.
Compensation for NYC: 160000-200000 USD Gross per year based on your interview results.
Salary for other locations dependent on experience and market standards

Responsibilities

Role Summary Senior Calypso Technical CICD responsible for the implementation, configuration, integration, and stabilization of a Calypso instance. The candidate will own technical delivery across environment management, integration development, migration, deployment and ongoing optimization in a capital markets context.

Integration Development

bullet icon

Design and development of Calypso integrations using the Calypso API (Java-based) and CalypsoML/XML message formats

bullet icon

Development of inbound and outbound interfaces using Calypso's MessageGateway framework

bullet icon

Integration with SWIFT connectivity layers (SWIFT Alliance, SIANet, or service bureau) for MT and MX message delivery

bullet icon

Development of interfaces to SAP (GL, AP, Payments Engine) using file-based or API-driven integration patterns

bullet icon

Integration with market data providers (Bloomberg B-PIPE, Refinitiv TREP/RTDS) for real-time and EOD price feeds

bullet icon

Development of interfaces to upstream trade capture systems (OMS/EMS) and downstream risk, custody, and reporting platforms

bullet icon

Experience with middleware platforms (IBM MQ, Tibco EMS, Kafka) used as message brokers in Calypso integration architectures

Implementation of REST/SOAP web service integrations where Calypso connects to external systems via API

Delivery and Deployment:

Develop and manage necessary solutions for Calypso environments as per requirements

Resolve Calypso environment related issues

Deployment and promotion of Calypso builds across environments using CI/CD pipelines or Calypso-native deployment tooling

Stabilize Calypso environment with improvements and other services architectural changes

bullet icon

Establish a comprehensive and integrated approach to defining, setting up, or trouble shooting issues arising from day-to-day activities

Provide expert guidance and leadership to resources on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

8+ years Calypso technical delivery experience across implementation, integration, migration and deployment projects

bullet icon

Proficient in Java development within the Calypso API framework

bullet icon

Strong SQL (Oracle/MSSQL) for database analysis, data migration, and performance tuning

bullet icon

Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting for environment automation and batch management

bullet icon

Knowledge of application server administration (JBoss/WildFly) and JVM performance tuning

bullet icon

Familiarity with version control (Git/SVN), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices in a Calypso context

Experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) delivery alongside structured governance frameworks

Strong communication skills across technical and business stakeholders at all levels
