We are looking for an Engineering Manager with strong Calypso development expertise to lead the design, development, and delivery of strategic initiatives within a global Capital Markets environment. The role requires a hands-on technical leader who can drive architecture, development standards, team management, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring high-quality delivery of Calypso-based solutions across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office functions.

Responsibilities

Oversee application design, code reviews, development best practices, and quality standards.

Support production stability, issue resolution, and continuous platform improvements.

Mentor team members and foster technical growth, collaboration, and innovation.

Work closely with global teams across multiple regions and time zones.

Drive Agile delivery practices and contribute to strategic technology roadmaps.

Skills

Must have

10+ years of experience in Capital Markets technology with extensive hands-on Calypso development experience.

bullet icon

Strong expertise in Calypso architecture, customization, workflows, business events, and integrations.

bullet icon

Experience working across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, and Trade Processing functions.

Strong Java development skills with experience in enterprise application development.

bullet icon

Experience with Calypso upgrades, platform enhancements, and large-scale implementations.

bullet icon

Solid understanding of Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, Money Markets, and other Capital Markets products.

Proven experience leading development teams and managing technical delivery.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

bullet icon

Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
