We’re looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our technology team and support the design, deployment, and management of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across multiple AWS accounts and regions. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, performance, and compliance of our cloud environments, which underpin key financial systems and services.

You’ll work closely with security, and application teams to build automated solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation, optimize cloud spend, and maintain high standards of availability and security.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure as Code

Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation, with a focus on modular, reusable templates that support EC2, Load Balancers, Lambda, and OpenSearch.

Multi-Account & Multi-Region Architecture

bullet icon

Design and manage environments across multiple AWS accounts and regions, ensuring secure cross-account access and consistent governance using AWS Organizations and IAM.

Networking & Connectivity

bullet icon

Implement secure and scalable network architectures using VPCs, PrivateLink, Security Groups, and Transit Gateways. Support connectivity between cloud and on-prem environments.

Monitoring & Cost Optimization

Set up and manage CloudWatch dashboards, alarms, and logs. Analyze usage and implement cost-saving measures across accounts, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Systems Management & Automation

Use AWS Systems Manager for patching, automation, and secure access to EC2 instances. Automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Security & Compliance

Apply financial industry best practices for cloud security, including IAM policy design, encryption, and audit logging. Support compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Search & Analytics

Maintain and optimize OpenSearch clusters for log analytics and search workloads, ensuring performance and scalability.

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

Proven experience with AWS services, especially EC2, Load Balancers, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, and OpenSearch.

Strong hands-on skills with Terraform and CloudFormation.

bullet icon

Experience working in multi-account and multi-region AWS environments.

Solid understanding of networking in AWS, including PrivateLink and VPC design.

Familiarity with cost management and optimization strategies in AWS.

Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or similar.

bullet icon

AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus.

Nice to have

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
