Project description

Our client is undertaking a re-implementation of the R24 core banking solution to replace the existing R21 system. This project includes implementation, migration, development of new integrations, and a review of the current Level 3 development to adapt it for the new system. The project is led by the bank, with DXC contributing resources at full capacity.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, governance, execution, and successful delivery of all data migration activities for the Temenos-to-Temenos transformation program

Key Responsibilities:-

Define the overall data migration strategy, scope, plan, and execution approach.

bullet icon

Lead data discovery, data analysis, and source-to-target mapping activities.

bullet icon

Coordinate with business, functional, and technical teams to validate migration requirements and rules.

bullet icon

Oversee the design and development of migration extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

bullet icon

Manage data quality assessments, cleansing activities, and issue remediation.

bullet icon

Define and execute reconciliation and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

bullet icon

Plan, coordinate, and manage trial migrations, mock migrations, and production migration rehearsals.

bullet icon

Develop migration runbooks, cutover plans, and go-live migration procedures.

bullet icon

Monitor migration risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation actions.

bullet icon

Provide migration status reporting and governance updates to project stakeholders.

bullet icon

Coordinate migration activities across Customer, Accounts, Deposits, Lending, Limits, Collateral, Payments, Treasury, FX, Securities, Private Equity, Wealth Management, and Financial Accounting domains.

Lead production migration execution and support post-migration validation and sign-off activities.

Must have

10-15 Years of Experience in Data Migration

bullet icon

Demonstrates strong expertise in Temenos Transact data structures, application architecture, and migration methodologies.

bullet icon

Proficient with core Data Migration (DM) tools and experienced in JBC programming for data extraction from source releases.

bullet icon

Skilled in utilizing Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration.

Capable of designing data migration solutions and performing mapping for core components when necessary.

Soft skills:

Ability to analyze complex data environments and develop efficient migration approaches.

Nice to have

Familiarity with SQL tools: Basic understanding of SQL for data query and manipulation tasks.
