Seeking an experienced Data Engineer / ETL Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale data integration and data warehousing solutions within the banking domain. The role involves building and optimizing ETL pipelines using Informatica technologies, ensuring data quality, supporting data governance initiatives, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and business-driven data solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, and IDMC.

Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.

Develop source-to-target mappings, technical specifications, and operational documentation.

Perform data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks.

bullet icon

Optimise ETL workflows, SQL queries, and database performance.

bullet icon

Implement and support data warehousing, dimensional modelling, and reporting solutions.

bullet icon

Manage job scheduling and monitoring using Control-M and AutoSys.

bullet icon

Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

bullet icon

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and cross-functional teams.

Support Agile delivery processes including estimation, sprint planning, and release activities.

Contribute to data governance, data quality, and automation initiatives.

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

bullet icon

10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL Development, Data Warehousing, or related roles.

bullet icon

Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services), and IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud).

Extensive experience in ETL design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

bullet icon

Advanced proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in Teradata and Oracle databases.

bullet icon

Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, Dimensional Modelling (Star/Snowflake schemas), and Data Modelling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical).

Experience in data profiling, data quality, data governance, data validation, and reconciliation.

bullet icon

Proven expertise in ETL and SQL performance tuning and optimization.

bullet icon

Hands-on experience with Control-M and AutoSys scheduling tools.

Experience with Git/BitBucket, JIRA, and Confluence.

Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and release management processes.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

Nice to have
