Our company builds software and data platforms that help the global energy industry make better decisions. Our products span subsurface interpretation, well construction planning, reservoir simulation, and digital operations. These are tools used daily by engineers and scientists at the world's largest energy companies.

We are seeking talented and motivated Cloud Engineers to join our growing cloud engineering team. We are hiring engineers across two teams who will work with cutting-edge cloud technologies on AWS and Azure platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals who are eager to develop their skills in cloud infrastructure and automation.

You will report to one of our three experienced team leads, working in a collaborative environment where learning and innovation are encouraged. Our teams are growing strategically - one team will consist of 5 engineers while the other will have 6 engineers, ensuring you'll have peers to collaborate with while maintaining an agile team structure.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure solutions using modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices

Technology Integration: Investigate and integrate identity management, storage solutions, container platforms, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies

Cloud Platform Management: Work with AWS and Azure services to build, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure

Collaboration: Partner with team leads and fellow engineers to deliver reliable and efficient cloud solutions

Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and best practices while building expertise in Terraform, Ansible, and cloud-native services

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

1-5 years of experience in cloud engineering, IT infrastructure, or related technical roles

Demonstrated interest in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) through coursework, personal projects, or professional experience

Technical Skills & Mindset

Eagerness to learn Terraform, Ansible, and various AWS and Azure services

Understanding of basic networking, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and system administration concepts

Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams

Nice to have

Familiarity with any of the following: AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC), Azure services (Virtual Machines, Storage, Active Directory/Entra)
