Prioritize software merge requests based on impact, readiness, and
stakeholder input, ensuring that critical updates are integrated efficiently in electronic module serial production projects.
Verify software requirements at component and HIL/Rig level
Aware of white and black box testing and be able to perform unit test using VectorCast
Support rest of the functional disciplines with all aspects related to software.
Perform work assignments as a highly competent software engineer, requiring independent integration and testing of the software components.
Work assignments primarily involve intermediate through advanced level work, moving toward complete technical competency and mastery of the field.
Configuration, implementation and automation of Continuous Integration/ Delivery pipelines for software delivery, including test automation frameworks.
Continuously improve speed, efficiency, scalability and stability of continuous integration system and environment.
Develops based on standard guidelines and safety aspects
Maintains regular attendance.
Aware of static check analysis / MISRA.
Must have
Knowledge of product development engineering practices in automotive field
Involvement in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Knowledge of embedded software development in C/C++ for 16 bit and 32 bit micro-controllers including application for micro-controllers such as Freescale, PPC, ARM core, TI DSP, Microchip, Infineon and Renasas
Experience in developing Application Software components and ARXMLs in AUTOSAR based projects using EB Tools (AUTOSAR Builder and Tresos)
Knowledge in code optimization for specific targets and compilers
Practical Knowledge
Working knowledge in structured engineering approach
Working knowledge in development of portable, reusable and modular software in automotive environment
Experience in using a disciplined software development process based on ASPICE process model.
Working knowledge of configuration management (preferably PTC/Github), project monitoring and control techniques
Troubleshooting and debugging skills
Knowledge of structured problem solving (8D) methods and/or techniques
Knowledge of AUTOSAR and Application Layer
Knowledge of analysis and engineering tools such as version control/configuration management, UML tools, static code check tools
Working knowledge of CAN/Ethernet/LIN based tools such as CANalyxer, CANoe and CANape
Experience in using VectorCast for unit testing
Experience in using Github
Experience in using Lauterbach and/or isystem debuggers
Personal Requirements
Able to work effectively in a global environment.
Able to represent technical design topics.
Continuous Integration (CI): Automating integration and testing procedures to improve software quality and accelerate feedback cycles.
Nice to have
Experience in Enterprise Architect.
