Business Analyst - Liquidity and Cash Management

Luxoft is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic BA to be part of our core development team. You will have the opportunity to work with global banking and capital market client of ours on various development projects. You will be part of high-caliber project teams comprising of analyst with deep domain experience.

• Business Analyst will be supporting the application used by Line of business by ensuring overall wellbeing of application and data available in platform received from various source systems.
• End-to-End ownership of Platform to ensure smooth delivery and usability of application by business users.
• Business Analyst will act as a liaison between business users and technology side of app to and enable seamless delivery.
• You may also have to work to support application for various business queries and quick turnaround of app if any issue.
• Key deliverables include creating Stories for Bank wide projects and application enhancements requested by business.
• Business analyst will also be responsible for assisting business for Data related queries and Data validation impact and resolution if any critical issue. BA need to ensure he is proactive by approach and able to provide these deliverables within stipulated timeline.
• This role required to assist, guide and impart work-based knowledge to other team members, which include Developers, testers and support team as and when required.
Actively consult with Business to identify and fix business problems not restricted to issues shared by business or for Projects but proactively look for Potential gaps.
Consult with various teams which include but not restricted to development, Upstream, Business, and Support to understand Key issues.
Identify Stories to be created for filling the gaps as were identified as Business requirements or Project related requirements.
Consult with business users spread globally to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.
Track and fully documents changes for functional and business specifications; writes detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training.
Define and document reporting requirements and clearly articulate the business logic as user stories into BRD.
Acts as a liaison between Engagement, Build, Test, Release and BAU/Support teams during the SDLC of the project.
Plans, organizes and conducts business process reengineering/improvement projects and/or management reviews.
Assists in developing an overall change management strategy.
Conducts change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes and documents functions and requirements.
Create test scenarios and test scripts based on requirements and participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.
Provides work direction to one or more technical staff or acts as a team lead on designated projects or assignments.
Assist business in clearing queries related to data or Application functionality.
The BA will be responsible for the following duties, but not limited to:
Provide estimation of efforts (time and cost) for business requirements.
Build technology solutions or provide services consistent with the business and requirements with high quality and within the agreed cost and time.
Assist line manager to effectively manage resources with the budget, ensures maximum utilisation of resource leading to increased productivity and reduce time to market.
Proactively drive the continuous improvement to reduce delivery costs and refine estimation.
Initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with the Business customer and internal stakeholders.
Build trust and confidence with Business through consistently meeting Business expectations thru faster time to market and quality deliverables and services.
Always be customer focused and proactively work with business stakeholders, engagement and other service providers as appropriate to deliver stable and cost effective solutions that meet business needs and effectively manage potential risks and issues.
Accountable for implementing SDLC processes with required artefacts to ensure high quality deliveries and services.
Drive continuous improvement in processes, procedures, practise and standards on an ongoing basis for better value added to our customers.
Align with Client’s internal Policy, Procedures and compliance.
Assist line manager to establish a high performance culture by communicating and energising the team around Business goals, underpinned by challenging targets and creating the environment for success.
Effective coordination with stakeholders internal and outside team for efficient delivery.
Ensure decisions are based on commercial acumen and risk.
Ensure team daily practice and behaviour compliance with policies, processes and standards.
Proactively identify the risk and potential issues.
Must have
8 Years of BA experience in Banking – preferably Liquidity and Cash management. Clear understanding of Cash Management/Liquidity Management for Nostro Account Funding team.
Must have knowledge and experience in all phases of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Business analysis experience, cash flows, ledgers & accounting flows, payment Messages from SWIFT (MT, PACS, CAMT messages).
Previous Experience with financial markets technology from Financial Markets or Bank.
Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience in preparing test plan, test cases, and RTM (Requirement Traceability Matrix).
Experience in functional, regression, smoke, system, and integration testing.
Strong knowledge of defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Bugzilla, or similar).
Experience in the execution of tests throughout the lifecycle of development projects.
Experience in discussing the results with Business stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of various asset classes, including FX, FI, MM, and Derivatives.
Ability to comprehend and reconcile data.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, SQL.
Strong focus on Attention to detail and quality of delivery.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Quick Learner and eager to learn.
Strong knowledge in project management and practice.
Must have knowledge and experience in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
Open to change and to ask and answer questions and deviate from obvious.
