We are looking for experienced Business Analysts with strong Investment Banking Operations domain expertise to join our team. You will act as the bridge between business and technology teams, driving requirement gathering, business process analysis, and solution design. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively collaborate with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.

Conduct requirement elicitation workshops and facilitate discussions with business users and cross-functional teams.

bullet icon

Analyze current business processes and define future-state process flows.

bullet icon

Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, and process documentation.

bullet icon

Perform business and data mapping to support solution design and implementation.

bullet icon

Lead functional discussions with business users and wider project teams to clarify requirements and resolve queries.

bullet icon

Collaborate with development, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure business requirements are accurately implemented.

bullet icon

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation, and post-production validation activities.

bullet icon

Identify process improvement opportunities and proactively manage risks, assumptions, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills

Must have

5+ years of experience in a similar role.

bullet icon

Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the Investment Banking domain.

bullet icon

Strong domain expertise in either:

bullet icon

Investment Banking Operations, with hands-on experience in Corporate Actions / Events Processing (e.g., Dividends, Rights Issues, Bonus Issues, Stock Splits, etc.), or

bullet icon

Lending Operations.

bullet icon

Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, process mapping, and business/data mapping.

bullet icon

Ability to independently lead requirement gathering sessions and functional discussions with business users and cross-functional teams.

bullet icon

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with business and technology stakeholders.

bullet icon

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

bullet icon

Proactive, self-driven, and capable of driving discussions and requirements to closure with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

bullet icon

Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

bullet icon

Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation.

bullet icon

Experience working with global Investment Banking clients.

Exposure to investment banking operational platforms and workflow tools.
