Req. VR-125757
An opportunity is available for a Collateral E2E Business Analyst focusing on UI to join our client, a leading Australian Financial Institute, as part of the team migrating collateral onto Calypso. This role is a key contributor to a major post-trade transformation program, responsible for configuring and customising Calypso collateral functions, defining operational workflows and UI requirements, and driving end-to-end scenario testing, defect management and business acceptance through to go-live within the client's clearing and settlement ecosystem.
Configure and customise Calypso collateral functions, including margin call contracts, eligibility schedules, haircuts, thresholds/MTA and allocation rules, within a CCP context.
Define target-state operational workflows for collateral and margin processes (margin call generation, collateral pledges/substitutions/returns, allocations, cash and security movements).
Elicit, document and specify UI and workflow requirements, including interface related UI requirements, screen layouts, field behaviour, validations and user entitlements.
Perform current
and future-state process mapping with Operations and business users; identify gaps and drive design decisions.
Translate requirements into epics, features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Design and execute end-to-end scenarios spanning upstream trade feeds, Calypso collateral processing, settlement and downstream reporting.
Plan and coordinate UAT/E2E testing cycles: test strategy input, scenario/test case design, test data, execution and evidence.
Lead defect triage — log, prioritise, reproduce and coordinate resolution with the vendor, development and test teams.
Drive business acceptance and sign-off; support operational readiness, training and embedding changes into BAU.
Work closely with the Migration squad to ensure migrated collateral data supports E2E operational workflows.
Build strong engagement with Operations, Risk, Treasury and business users across all seniority levels.
Must have
10+ years in Capital Markets with 5+ years hands-on Calypso experience, with very strong expertise in the Calypso Collateral module.
Very strong collateral management domain knowledge — IM/VM, margin call lifecycle, eligibility, haircuts, thresholds/MTA, cash and securities allocations.
Hands-on Calypso configuration experience (collateral contracts, workflows, static/reference data, UI/workstation set-up).
Proven experience writing UI and workflow specifications and performing business process mapping.
Strong UAT and end-to-end testing experience, including scenario design, execution and test evidence.
Strong defect triage and management experience (e.g. JIRA) with vendor and technology teams.
Experience driving business acceptance and sign-off for Tier 1 implementations.
Excellent stakeholder engagement with Operations and business users; strong facilitation and communication skills.
Experience in Agile delivery with JIRA and Confluence.
Nice to have
Knowledge of Equities clearing platform, CCP Settlement processes, and margining frameworks.
Experience at an Exchange or Central Counterparty (CCP) in a clearing or collateral capacity.
Exposure to Calypso integrations (SWIFT, MQ, REST APIs) and settlement systems (e.g. Austraclear).
Technical knowledge of SQL/XML for data analysis and issue investigation.
Experience with test automation or test management tools.
Experience working with global, distributed stakeholder teams
