You'll be working in the Sales Transformation teams focusing on creating the most data driven, agile, productive and technology backed sales force in the industry. We deliver the next generation of tools and analytics to empower both leadership and sales team. Helping to view & deliver increased revenues through enhanced decision making and data-driven client engagement at scale.

Responsibilities

Your role:

A Java developer who will build and maintain the backend for multiple digital products and technology services in the Azure cloud ecosystem for the Sales Transformation team.

Are you motivated to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions for our Digital Platform? Are you a master of Java backend development and have experience with Azure Cloud? We're looking for experienced professionals responsible for delivering high-quality applications for our Sales and Trading Business, including:

Proficiency in Java backend development (Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, etc.).

Experience in the Azure Cloud platform, especially on Web Apps, Azure Monitoring & Terraform.

Experience in Relational database such as Oracle, Postgres and MySQL.

Hands-on experience in CI/CD, automated testing and other DevOps practices.

Understanding of performance optimization techniques for web applications.

Take pride in the quality of delivered software products and services (this is what drives you).

Previous work in the financial services or banking industry is considered an asset.

Drive technical specification and the component design.

Develop the service-layer of a large-scale rich platform in collaboration with our tech team.

Working directly with the Product Manager and dev team to understand the workflow and needs.

Solving real-world issues such as data access, team dependencies, DevOps, tricky ingestion jobs, getting a sense of data and building complex data/workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees.

Apply a broad range of software engineering techniques, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment, CI/CD and other DevOps practices.

Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.

Build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues.

Learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.

Work in an agile way as part of multi-disciplinary teams, participate in agile ceremonies, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and others.

Understand, represent, and advocate for client needs.

Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities.

Key Deliverables:

Frequent releases that improve our digital products and technology services.

Technical analysis, design, code, tests, documentation, and other engineering artifacts.

You have:
