We are looking for a highly skilled Axiom Developer to join our Treasury Technology team supporting a major Australian banking program. The role will focus on designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting regulatory reporting solutions built on the Axiom platform. The successful candidate will work closely with Treasury, Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting, and Data teams to deliver business-critical reporting solutions that comply with APRA regulatory requirements and support strategic data transformation initiatives.
The role involves development and enhancement of Axiom-based regulatory reports, data integration, automation, performance optimization, and support of end-to-end reporting processes across Treasury and Finance domains. The program supports a centralized Risk, Treasury, and Finance data platform that serves as a single source of truth for regulatory, statutory, and financial reporting

Responsibilities
bullet icon

Develop, enhance, and support regulatory reporting solutions using Axiom SL / Axiom Controller View.

Work on end-to-end report development including Data Source, Data Model, Modify Model, Portfolio, Aggregation, Freeform Reports, Tabular Reports, and Workflow.

Analyse business and regulatory reporting requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

Support regulatory reporting modules such as APRA

bullet icon

Perform migration and remediation activities

bullet icon

Develop and remediate windows batch files for reporting and scheduling processes.

bullet icon

Create and manage Autosys jil for batch scheduling and production execution.

bullet icon

Write and maintain file preprocess code, UDFs, and report logic as required.

bullet icon

Perform data quality validation, unit testing, functional testing, and support UAT activities.

bullet icon

Provide production support, issue analysis, defect fixing, and stakeholder support during regulatory submission cycles.

Perform deployment activities across UAT and production environments.

Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, QA teams

Work independently on assigned regulatory reporting areas and support junior team members when required.

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

Strong hands-on experience in Axiom SL / Axiom Controller View.

bullet icon

Experience in regulatory reporting is preferable.

bullet icon

Experience with XBRL taxonomy implementation and upgrades.

bullet icon

Knowledge of Axiom CV10 migration/remediation activities.

bullet icon

Working knowledge of Oracle / Microsoft SQL Server databases.

bullet icon

Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for querying, validation, and troubleshooting.

bullet icon

Good understanding of UAT support, production support, deployment, and release processes.

bullet icon

Ability to analyse requirements, prepare technical specifications, and perform data/report validation.

bullet icon

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder support skills.

Nice to have
