Luxoft provide end-to-end project services and have delivered cloud transformation projects across the capital markets industry.
Whether you possess a background in finance, technology, or engineering, your experience or interest in the capital markets industry or commodities industry would be of high interest to us.

The project involves cloud infrastructure modernization and DevOps automation for a Commodity Trading and Position platform.

You will be part of a Top Initiative for this commodity client. This is a brilliant opportunity to work on cloud infrastructure supporting several types of commodity products and gain hands-on experience with AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
The technology stack includes:
• AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation)
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
• Databases: Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL
• Monitoring & Logging: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana

You will be part of the DevOps and Cloud Engineering team responsible for the migration and modernization of the trading platform infrastructure.

You will act as an AWS DevOps Engineer, working on automation, deployment pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. This is a brilliant opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud platforms supporting critical financial systems.

Responsibilities

Design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and orchestration tools to ensure scalable, secure, and repeatable environments.

Build and optimize deployment automation using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and container orchestration to support cloud-native applications and microservices architecture.

Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to align cloud infrastructure solutions with application requirements and trading platform workflows.

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure high availability, performance optimization, and proactive issue resolution.

Establish and maintain security best practices across AWS environments, including IAM policies, network configurations, and compliance with financial industry standards.

Implement DevOps best practices across build, test, and deployment processes, automating end-to-end delivery on AWS using CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure as Code.

Manage AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, and related networking and storage components to support banking and trading applications.

Support database administration and migration tasks for PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL databases hosted on AWS RDS and EC2 instances.

Participate in code reviews, infrastructure audits, and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote continuous improvement and team growth.
