We are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Software Architect to join a high-performing engineering team developing advanced automotive electronic systems and software platforms. In this role, you will work closely with system engineers, software developers, safety and cybersecurity specialists, architects, and test engineers to deliver innovative and robust solutions for next-generation vehicle functions.

You will play a key role throughout the product lifecycle, from concept development and system design to software integration and industrialization.

Responsibilities

Lead the systemization and architectural design of embedded software solutions.

Drive the development of system, functional, and software architectures for automotive platforms.

Translate customer and functional requirements into detailed system and software requirements.

Manage requirements in compliance with automotive safety and cybersecurity standards.

Initiate and facilitate early-phase engineering activities such as:

Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

bullet icon

Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA)

bullet icon

Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA)

bullet icon

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful system integration and delivery.

bullet icon

Support software development, verification, debugging, and fault-tracing activities during product industrialization.

bullet icon

Contribute to technology roadmaps and continuous product improvement initiatives.

bullet icon

Lead technical discussions and coordinate architectural decisions across multiple engineering disciplines.

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

Approximately 10 years of experience in embedded software and system/function development.

bullet icon

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with C/C++ and/or MATLAB/Simulink.

bullet icon

Minimum 5 years of experience in real-time embedded system development.

bullet icon

Strong experience in system design and software architecture for AUTOSAR-based systems.

bullet icon

Knowledge of automotive diagnostics protocols such as UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services).

bullet icon

Experience with automotive communication technologies, including CAN and/or Ethernet.

bullet icon

Good understanding of functional safety standards (ISO 26262).

bullet icon

Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity principles and standards.

bullet icon

Experience with requirements engineering and traceability tools.

bullet icon

Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical activities and drive complex engineering tasks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

bullet icon

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in international and multicultural environments.

Hands-on automotive industry experience is highly desirable.

Nice to have

Experience within vehicle dynamics, chassis systems, or related automotive domains.

Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.

Experience with Vector tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer.
