This opening is for an ADAS Domain Controller project for a prestigious OEM, where Luxoft is working with the OEM teams to deliver a next-generation Platform solution based on AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive and QNX working together as a system interacting with a host of cameras, ultrasound sensors, internal and external Radars.
Luxoft is collaborating on Signal and Service Management, Diagnostics, SW Update, Vehicle Config, QNX/Middleware and Software Architecture areas with the OEM directly.
Luxoft is expected to delivery quality and expert support in the above areas, drive topics independently, liaise with other OEM stakeholders to remove blockers. The ideal candidate needs to have endless curiosity and can pair a global mindset with locally relevant execution. You should be a gritty problem solver, never give up attitude and a self-starter who can think of out-of-box solution. The successful candidate will be a team player, display a balance of hard and soft skills, including the ability to respond quickly to Client's changing needs.
We are looking for an Automotive Evaluation Kit Engineer to design, develop, and validate evaluation boards for automotive semiconductor products (MCUs, power ICs, sensors, and communication devices).
You will play a key role in enabling our customer to evaluate device performance in compliance with automotive standards.
This role combines hardware design, lab validation, and system-level understanding of automotive applications:
Automotive Hardware Design:
Design evaluation boards and reference platforms for automotive ICs:
Microcontrollers (MCU), Automotive sensors (radar, imaging, current, pressure), Communication ICs (CAN, LIN, Ethernet PHY)
Develop schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts
Ensure compliance with Automotive standards
Board Bring-Up & Automotive Debugging:
Perform board bring-up, debugging, and failure analysis
Validate power rails, clock systems, and communication interfaces
Validation & Compliance Testing:
Develop and execute validation plans aligned with automotive requirements
Perform Electrical characterization, Functional testing, Stress testing
Support EMC pre-compliance testing
Document results and recommend improvements

Must have
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics preferred)
+5 years automotive experience
Strong knowledge of Analog, digital, and power electronics design and Automotive electronics basics
Hands-on experience with Hardware bring-up and lab debugging, Automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), Signal and power integrity fundamentals
Strong hardware debugging and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in lab-intensive environments
Clear technical communication and documentation
Customer-oriented mindset (supporting OEMs/Tier-1s)
Nice to have
Experience in automotive hardware or semiconductor industry
Knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety concepts)
Exposure to Automotive power systems (12V/48V, EV architectures), High-speed automotive interfaces (Ethernet, SerDes)
