The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) position is responsible for the performance of any/all functions involved in the quality assurance and test execution for the Salesforce application.
This individual is required to provide quality control, production support testing, and act as a liaison to key stakeholders re: the quality of the software we are building. This is a technical position where you will be expected to author and execute the quality/testing plan for the project and closely collaborate with development, product management, project management, and leadership. You will be expected to
drive consistent standards, tools, and best practices across the team with the overall goal of improving application reliability.
Optum’s Salesforce team is a fast-paced environment, and we are looking to add a team member who
can hit the ground running to manage multiple responsibilities and projects while producing high-quality
results/outcomes.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive test plans for multiple projects, considering project-specific requirements.

Collaborate with project managers to ensure testing timelines align with project milestones.

Design, execute, and manage test cases for various projects, ensuring thorough coverage.

Lead and coordinate testing efforts across different projects simultaneously.

Act as a point of contact for testing-related activities across multiple projects.

Coordinate with project managers to prioritize testing tasks based on project timelines and critical path analysis.

Skills

Must have

Automation Testing:

knowledge of networking, network automation

Firewall , Datacenter swap in and out are handled, record readers, every DNS server automation

bullet icon

Develop and maintain a robust automation framework using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Cucumber to support continuous testing across projects.

Stay abreast of the latest automation tools and technologies, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.

bullet icon

Conduct performance testing using JMeter to assess system performance, scalability, and reliability.

bullet icon

Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

Knowledge of database.

Operation Support:

Provide operational support by monitoring and addressing issues in production environments.

Problem Solving:
