Join our Development Center in Romania, and become a member of our open-minded, progressive, and professional team. In this role you will be working on projects for one our world-famous clients.
Working as a Project Manager within the Infrastructure & Cloud team, the role is centered on the build, deployment, and integration of Flexera flexnet manager tools functionality onto a new on-premise centralized platform. The main duties include project planning, resource allocation and project implementation that is in line with the organization's standards and policies. Continuously review and evaluate of the Lead planning and/or implementation of projects, you may also participate in the design and/or testing phases.
Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; develop methods to monitor project or area progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary.
Working within the Project team, you will be part of a programme that is delivering a new software license management platform for the Bank integrated into multiple cloud solutions.
This is a versatile position that requires sufficient technical skills. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of applications and technology systems. You should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share your knowledge.

    Key Responsibilities
     Meeting project goals, creating project plans and other artefacts
     Maintaining project timeframes, plans, budgeting estimates and status reports
     Managing resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employees
     Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities
     Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
     Using project management tools and methodologies to track project performance and schedule adherence
     Conducting risk assessments for projects and managing issues
     Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress
     Actively supports the business strategy, plans and values, contributing to the achievement of a high-performance culture
     Personally contributes to an environment where people development is the number one priority
     Acts as a role model for other employees, providing help and support to facilitate early integration and assimilation of their environment
     Highlights performance issues within the team, where appropriate, to drive for high performance


Must have

    Mandatory skills/experience description
     Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science, Math, Finance, Business, Economics, (or equivalent Business Analysis certification and/or relevant work experience)
     5+ years of experience successfully managing various projects. Outstanding grasp of information technology concepts and processes.
     Software Technical background
     Demonstrated aptitude for effective leadership of staff
     Deep knowledge of principles, practices and theories in own professional discipline. May have knowledge of more than one professional discipline
     Thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques and tools
     Outstanding record of project management success, both in results achieved and in use of professional methodology. Pro-active in developing and implementing strategies that significantly mitigate risk
     Experience in delivery of large-scale projects around application and infrastructure environments
     Strong capability to assess change and complete impact assessments on time risk allowance and forensic analysis
     Have a working knowledge of and be able to facilitate risk workshops, undertake quantitative risk analysis & schedule risk analysis
     Strong engagement with senior stakeholders in business and technology disciplines
     Knowledge of technologies (spanning infrastructure and applications), technology trends and paradigms
     Experienced in the establishment, management and communications of programme Review Boards
     Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
     Experienced of working in a global, federated architecture environment
     Substantial knowledge of project management frameworks, methods and standards
     Fluent in English (written and verbal)
