Work with a data science/engineering team to support the client to become a data-driven organization, to design and develop a new platform for future high data volumes and advanced analytics, to optimize and modernize data operations. The large data retail platform will be developed using Azure Cloud technologies and you will work in a fast paced and agile environment where you'll be making meaningful contributions day one.

Responsibilities

Senior Data engineer/Azure Developer:
• Azure/BigData (mandatory):
o Azure Data Bricks/Apache Spark
o Azure Data Factory
o Azure Data Lake/Azure Blob Storage
• Azure/BigData (nice to have)
o Azure Synapse Analytics
o Azure SQL Database
o Azure CosmosDB
o Monitoring (Azure Monitor, AppInsights)
o Security (KeyVault, Azure AD)
o experience in data modelling
• Coding:
o SQL
o Python
• CI/CD tools (at least 1):
o Azure DevOps
o ARM templates or Terraform
• Project/code management (at least 2):
o Jira
o Confluence
o Git
