Project Description


The Card Support Engineer role performs level 2 and level 3 support and maintenance activities for Cards Platform. Engineer will be part of wider support and release train team that is responsible for the ensuring production applications remain performant and undertake any configuration and enhancements to these applications. Engineer will work closely with the team lead and operations manager to provide 24/7 application support services to bank's client facing IT systems. The role directly contributes to ensuring service stability and optimal delivery standard.

Responsibilities


    • Proactive monitoring to avoid P1/P2 incidents and unplanned outage.
    • Develop and implement new procedures for system hardening.
    • Providing suggestion/resolution to various queries raised by project team/business team for new requirements.
    • Preparing Runsheet or artefacts for critical activities like System Upgrade, DR activities, System restarts.
    • Performing critical activities like EOFY support, statement generation and archival activities in production system.
    • Supporting and resolving issues on various interface systems like Cheque, DE, ODS, BPAY and NPP.
    • Identify reoccurring problems and implemented permanent fix which reduced total number of tickets inflow.
    • End to end design and solution for building digital payments eco system for various banks, financial institutions.
    • Support compliance and mandate requirements from various payment schemes such as Mastercard, Visa, Amex, EFTPOS.
    • Support Card processing applications such as TSYS Prime, Cadencie.
    • Support Advanced payment solutions like Digital wallets, QR Payments etc.
    • Analysing Customer Requirements elicitation, Identifying Gaps/Non-Gaps & Solution design in accordance with requirements.

Skills


Must have

    • More than 3 years experience in design and development cards and payments solution.
    • Excellent knowledge in running, trouble shooting, administering, and evaluating Close of Business Activities
    • Experience in Cards Issuing & Acquiring end to end flow.
    • Good understanding of ATM, POS, Switch, HSM etc.
    • Experience in design and solution for building digital payments eco system for various banks, financial institutions.
    • The compliance/mandate requirements from various payment schemes such as Mastercard, Visa, Amex, EFTPOS.
    • Card processing applications such as TSYS Prime, Cadencie.
    • Advanced payment solutions like Digital wallets, QR Payments etc.
    • Analysing Customer Requirements elicitation, Identifying Gaps/Non-Gaps & Solution design in accordance with requirements.
    • Strong communication skills: verbal, written
    • Self-motivated and self-driven without need of detailed supervision
    • Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations in a calm manner
