The team is working on the current legacy application migration to the latest database version. A detailed data migration plan needs to be established to prepare, extract, transform and transfer data of the correct form and quality. Below outline steps involved in this data migration project
Identify the data format, location, and sensitivity, Planning for the size and scope of the project, Backup all data, Assess migration tool, Execution of the data migration, Validation of data, move historical data.

Responsibilities

---

SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server,
Sound knowledge in designing database,
Hands on experience of Transact SQL utilizing SQL Server 2016 and above.
Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming
Hands on experience in SQL - writing and troubleshooting experience in complex stored procedure, function, triggers,
Sound knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis Services
Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
Experience of working in Agile development project

• Work with developers and testers meet the project deadlines
• optimize SQL server queries to efficiently and quickly retrieve data.
• Work with UI developers and others, to ensure integration successful
