The client is a greenhouse firm for start-up like products within the financial markets; developing in a dynamic environment - with the backing of a worldwide firm.
The project is built around a digital voting system that enables investors to vote in real time, removing traditional deadlines for submitting votes several days ahead of a company meeting. This is not a traditional banking project but rather a startup spun out by the bank with a relatively small dev team working on it. Project stakeholders and team members are based in Kyev, Tel Aviv, Saint-Petersburg and London.

Tech stack: Java8, Java11, Maven, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration, Kafka, ActiveMQ, MSSQL, REST, JSON, Jenkins, TeamCity, OpenShift

Responsibilities

---

- Ensure delivery of the committed functionality
- Evaluate and adopt new tools, libraries, and approaches to improve delivery quality
- Participate in migration of existing tools to MicroServices
- Work closely with other members of a cross-functional project team
- Write good and well-tested code in Java
- Perform code review

Skills

---

Must have

- At least 5 years of Java development experience
- Experience with Java frameworks (Spring Boot, ORMs like JPA or Hibernate)
- REST, JSON experience
- Candidate should write code on a daily basis
- An up-to-date understanding of modern software development tools and techniques
- Proactive position working and the team, sense of ownership

Nice to have

- Experience in MicroServices architecture
- Apache Kafka, Spring Integration, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
