Responsibilities


    The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for providing operational and project management support for Technology and Data initiatives for Finance and Analytics.
    • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions. Document and validate results with subject matter experts and drive the creation of strong system specifications that enable the development and/or acquisition of appropriate systems to meet business requirements.
    • Liaise with application developers and business subject matter experts to brainstorm and document innovative solutions alternatives. Evaluate alternatives relative to business requirements and provide advice that is rooted in deep subject matter expertise
    • Participate in process design meetings and translating outcomes into process documentation. Conduct process walkthroughs and validation with business subject matter experts. Document the key risks, mitigating controls, performance measures, cost drivers and business continuity plans for processes

Skills


Must have

    • Undergraduate or equivalent work experience
    • 8+ years' experience in a related role(s) within the investment industry
    • SimCorp Dimension experience 5+ years
    • Proven ability to liaise with business subject matters in gathering of business requirements, including direct experience with Investment Operations and Investment Accounting.
    • Strong analytical skills with ability to conduct complex data analysis
    • Proven process development skills and solid understanding of project life cycle and the capability to apply best practices knowledge to unique and dynamic situations
    • Knowledge of Investment Operations and Accounting functions including cash management, settlements, reconciliation and asset processing.
    • Capital market product knowledge such as Derivative products modeling
    • Experience with onboarding of new financial products and integration with multiple systems
    o Experience in SCD supporting for business
    o Ability to understand DFS and translations between source schema to SCD destination schema
    o Understands SCD COM server
    o Knowledgeable with DEX Processes
    o Knowledgeable with Performance Calculation and performance measurement
    Should have at least one of the following Business Domains Skills
    o Knowledge of Investment Operations and Accounting functions including cash management, settlements, reconciliation and asset processing.
    o Capital market product knowledge such as Derivative products modeling
    o Experience with onboarding of new financial products and integration with multiple systems
    o Strong analytical skills with ability to conduct complex data analysis

Nice to have

    • Agile, Scrum framework experience
    • Agile Product Owner experience
