The platform that aims to serve the entire luxury industry with powerful product tracking and tracing services, based on Ethereum blockchain technology and utilizing Microsoft Azure.

The role
As a Senior Back End Engineer, you will be part of a small team of 4 people (business analyst, architect, backend engineer, devops engineer) overseeing the production engineering ("run") of a customer application. The platform is a leading platform used my many of the world's leading luxury brands to track and trace luxury products using blockchain technology.
Key activities will include:

- Diagnostic and resolution of bugs or performance limitations across a range of micro services and data ingestion pipelines (Javascript, Go)
- Development and optimization of integration points with platform users
Identification and implementation of code simplification / refactoring opportunities
- Development of add-on features requested by users
- Later in the project, a feature development ("build") team will be formed in addition to the "run" team, and the two teams will be expected to work in close coordination.

Responsibilities

5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer working on Enterprise-grade projects

Experience required in:
• Typescript / NodeJS: strong expertise required
• Go: experience required
• Powershell, generic scripting: experience required
• SQL
• Azure messaging queue
• Solidity: nice to have

• Experience working in CI/CD setup
• Experience with micro-services architectures
• General interest in DevOps topics / experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
• Teamwork, flexibility, initiative, communication and organization
• Willingness to constantly learn & improve


Soft skills required:
• Good communication skills;
• High level of ownership;
• Fair and transparent reporting level;
• Readiness to operating across multiple global locations with accommodate various cultures and practices;
• English - not lower than upper-intermediate.
