The role is with our core Development team which is supporting Run The Bank. The role is part of the integration which acts as a processing layer for trade booking and processing applications such as Murex, STP and Static Data applications

Responsibilities

---

1) Previous experience in the management of delivery projects with team size of 25+ at minimum
2) Proven organized, analytical and methodological approach
3) Excellent interpersonal skills: this is key, as you will need to be both a leader and a team player, capable of inspiring and influencing people across different geographical regions and within different teams
4) The desire to work in a collaborative, multicultural and international environment

Release Lead Roles:

1. Participate in all the SCRUM planning meetings to discuss with PM any CRs needed for next Sprint
2. Create releases in Jira across all the Apex Jira projects(highly suggest we merge all in one which is easy to manage the relation between Jira ticket and git stash—the codes)
3. Communicating with developers to see if any changes can be optimized or postponed due to some conflicts and update to PM to seek the approval
4. Owner for signing off the testing closure report on behalf of developers
5. Draft all the CRs planned and link it to the Jira release by populating the summary field in remedy, and update the CR number back to the release in Jira
6. Assign the CRs to the main developer of the change to present in preCAB/CAB, she need to oversight all the planned CRs be in IIP at least 1 day before the change
7. 1 CR a week at most for the Release Manager to implement it by herself, and developer have to provide the detailed install plan/test plan and all the signoffs
8. Coordinate with developers to update the Jira status, merge code into master and update the Jira release status post the successful CR.

Skills

---

Must have

Overall 12+ years experience in IT industry.
Minimum 8+ years experience delivery projects with proven track record of success.
Financial background as a must
Knowledge in Repo, Fixed income business as nice to have
Preferred experience of working with Front Office and driving through Front-to-Back changes.
Proven people management and leadership experience.
Strong communicator, able to converse in appropriate levels of detail with COO group, Front Office traders, Middle Office/Operations analysts, Product Controllers, Production Support teams, Local IT Management and relevant heads of business functions.
Experience of strategic change and working with business and technology stakeholders to define and execute operational strategy
Preferred experience of working with vendor products like Bloomberg TOMS, MARTINI/APEX, OPICS.

Ensure project implementation at the client site according to schedule, budget and our high quality standards.
Have multiple projects according to front office, risk management or back office banking function.
Ability to design appropriate project methodology and milestones. Also define and assign teams and resources with deliverables and deadlines, coordinating internal and external teams (client side and systems integrators) and measure and report project progress.
In terms of client relationship management, organize, run steering committee meetings
Communicate project information and progress.
Ensure proper agile execution, high delivery quality throughout the project lifecycle with the client.
