We are looking for an experienced engineer for an exciting role to augment our Client's core Linux embedded team to work on latest platforms and software. The person will interact closely with key technical experts to ensure the best possible performance and results on the SoC platforms.

Responsibilities

Embedded Linux Software apps / drivers or kernel development, porting, customisation, performance benchmarking and optimisation. - Working with the team and collaborating on building and supporting system software sub systems. - Owning system software development and debugging for certain area(s) like Multimedia

Skills

---

Must have

1. Engineer with 6+ years of experience in Linux kernel development.
2. Strong C/C++ development skills with a good understanding of object-oriented design
3. Good understanding of Linux fundamentals and device driver development.
4. Experience with Audio sub-systems, Audio drivers, frameworks and ALSA SOC(ASOC), and Audio protocols like I2S.
5. Good working experience with IPC, and DMA driver development.
6. Strong background in embedded systems development
7. System knowledge, System Debugging
8. Experience with kernel-mode driver programming in Linux

Nice to have

1. Experience with Any RTOS porting.
2. Experience with host to DSP communication.
