Our client from the investment banking industry is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Project Management Officer, who'd like to support with responsibilities in the financial control of 3 projects. Join the Infrastructure & Security Engineering (Centre of Excellence) sector and become a member of our open minded, progressive and professional team. The team called Operating Management (often adhered to as Fin Analytics) consists of ca. 7-8 people from around the globe (Poland, UK, India). Responsibilities


    ∙ Responsible for the financial control of 3 projects (up to the program level)
    ∙ Responsible mainly for finance administration in the projects (core task) but as well creating status reports on demand and milestones tracking (secondary activities)
    ∙ Working with PPM (Project Portfolio Management) tool in order to support:
    - financial forecast management;
    - cost plans actualization;
    - PPM's data hygiene maintenance;
    - benefits calculation;
    - overall program financials calculation
    ∙ Responsible for the reporting on financial statuses at different levels:
    - executive summaries;
    - forecasts vs actuals;
    - summaries for mid & top level management
    ∙ Support Program/Project Managers in project communication and coordination
    ∙ Support Program/Project Managers in creation and maintenance of project documentation and status reports
    ∙ Organize and takes minutes in project meetings, workshops and reviews
    ∙ Track project risks, issues, action logs and project deliverables on behalf of Program/Project Managers
    ∙ Support Program/Project Managers in other PMO tasks upon request

Skills


Must have

    ∙ Fluent English
    ∙ Professional experience in PMO support, preferably for IT Projects / Financial Control projects / or Investment Banking Industry
    ∙ Strong communication skills - experience at communication with stakeholders and high level management (Strong English language skills is a must);
    ∙ Advanced user level experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel reporting and data presentation skills)
    ∙ Excellent organizational and time management skills
    ∙ Cooperation, influence and interpersonal skills
    ∙ Ability to work to regular and sometimes challenging deadlines, and be able to prioritize deliverables
    ∙ Excellent attention to details, accuracy and analytical mindset
    ∙ Flexibility and open-mindedness

Nice to have

    ∙ Financial education background
    ∙ Basic knowledge of IT terminology and networking would be an asset
    ∙ Knowledge of PMO methodologies and tools would be an asset
    ∙ German and/or Polish language is a plus
