We've been engaged by a large Australian company for their Rates project in Murex. This project involves development for Regulatory analysis, getting the requirements, looking at different PreTrade/PostTrade build, book trades and share the required data.

We require an experienced MxML developer with strong knowledge of Murex, experience in MxML solution design and broad exposure to financial markets. You will be working as subject matter expert in a team of Murex Developers on a variety of tasks.

Initial project would be an Regulatory analysis with PreTrade/ PostTrade build, specifically for a Rates project. This will be a high profile engagement with a view to quickly grow our offshore footprint with this client.

Responsibilities

---

• Development of planned changes ranging from small CTB type tasks to large bank-wide projects
• Technical Analysis of changes, effort estimation, solution design, development and unit testing
• Work with QA team to ensure timely defect remediation and proper test coverage
• End to end ownership of tasks in cooperation with Business Analysts and Testing team
• Drive solution design discussions with wider team and mentor/train more junior members of the team

Skills

Must have

• 5+ years of Murex MxML and Datamart experience with in depth understanding
• Advanced MxML workflow and formulae development
• Extensive XSLT, Interface & data dictionary knowledge
• Oracle and/or SQL Server RDBMS Fundamentals and good SQL skills.
• Unix
• Experience of working with Jira
• Agile SDLC experience
• Good functional/ Murex FO background
• Exposure to asset class: IR Derivatives
• Strong stakeholder management & communication skills

Nice to have

- DevOps on Murex experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc) highly regarded
- Good Java experience, especially integrating Java code in MxML
- Experience in FRTB & TDS in Murex
- Exposure to Commodity type trades
- Pretrade experience
- Technical solution design experience and start-to-end solution ownership
