We are looking for experienced Machine Learning Engineers - individuals who have strong software development experience and production Data Science/ Machine Learning delivery.
You will work with Data Scientists in developing AI and Machine Learning prototypes and POCs, and taking the lead in making these Production-ready, developing the Production environment, integrating with existing applications, and deploying models into Production.
We are interested in hearing from individuals with a strong development background - especially Python development - but who also have a keen interest in AI & ML.


    ◆ Support the delivery of a portfolio of projects, primarily production Machine Learning Systems
    ◆ Develop best practice frameworks and re-usable components wherever possible; making future deliveries simpler and faster
    ◆ Work on a variety of use cases such as Balance Forecasting, Next Best Action, Pricing, and Risk Early Warning


Must have

    ◆ Strong development skills in Python.
    ◆ An understanding of data science / machine learning concepts - including experience with numpy / pandas / scikit-learn
    ◆ Exposure to the full Software Development Life Cycle, and experience of working in a modern development team
    ◆ Experience in building production systems
    ◆ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. The successful candidates will be expected to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams

    Required Experience:
    ◆ Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience or background in one of the other Mathematical Sciences, eg Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, or other similar quantitative field
    ◆ At least two years of software development experience

Nice to have

    ◆ Available to work in the UK (Bristol or London)
    ◆ Strong background in analytics, and/or Machine-learning-as-a-service
    ◆ Experience in the following: Teradata, Hadoop, Git, Jenkins, Nexus, Airflow, Tivoli Scheduler and Tableau

    Desired Experience:
    ◆ Experience with / exposure to software development for analytic applications
    ◆ Experience in big data
    ◆ Experience in projects involving cross-functional teams
