Lead Technical Support Engineer with Control-M knowledge,

Our client is a UK subsidiary of a global financial house working in multiple markets and asset classes.
We are currently expanding a team responsible for a range of client back office applications for USA market heavily relying on Control-M as scheduling/workflow technology with a support engineer.
Successful candidate will join a mixed client/Luxoft team of ~10 people.
Technologies used: Control-M, Unix Shell/Windows Batch/Perl, Java/J2EE, JMS/JFS, Oracle/SQL, SSRS, MQ, Jira/Confluence.
Opportunities: Rapidly growing account with opportunities for working directly with client, expanding technical and capital markets knowledge, and developing consultancy / soft skills.
Currently, the project operates in fully remote/WFH mode.


    - Communicating with client on issues and requirements
    - Configuring Control-M workflows
    - Creating shell scripts
    - L2/L3 support (resolving issues, implementing small changes)


Must have

    Experience in Control-M scheduling and Service Management concepts
    Strong understanding of Control-M components. Ability to perform troubleshooting at component level
    Ability to write, update and deploy Control-M jobs
    Experience in monitoring, incident handling and escalation for Control-M jobs
    Control-M Batch development and scheduling skills and ability to manage critical process workflow
    Ability to support application team with implementing Control-M for their jobs
    Knowledgeable in common shell scripting and programming languages (PERL, PowerShell, Java, shell, batch, JSON, Python, C#, etc.)
    Ability to analyze requirements, procedures and problems to determine the need for further automation or to improve existing systems from users

Nice to have

    SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
    Experience in finance/capital markets


English: B2 Upper Intermediate
