Project Description

The client is building and rolling out new Transport Management System. The whole implementation is managed via the Scrum Framework. The IT development is currently done by internal development centres in Eastern Europe within 3 SCRUM teams.
Luxoft is building additional SCRUM teams to strengthen the sprint throughput within the existing project.

Responsibilities

---

- Creation of design documents according to specifications in the project (in particular taking into account the design, architecture and IT security specifications)
- Implementation of the requirements for the new IT systems
- Implementation of development tests

Skills

---

Must have

-5+ years of experience in software development with JAVA EE;
-Object-oriented analysis and design by using common patterns for software development;
-Solid knowledge in Java SE, JEE, Class-loading, Memory Management, Transaction management
-Excellent knowledge of relational databases. Fluency in SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate);
-Minimum 2 years of experience working with Oracle databases;
-Minimum 2 years of experience with Agile software development methodologies.

Nice to have

- Experience in the logistic industry, especially Road Freight
- knowledge in the areas of Operations, Admin, Coexistence/ Interfaces/ Electronic document management, Master Data Management;
- Proficiency in the English language.
