o In this role, as an individual contributor, you will work within the software engineering team to troubleshoot/debug customer issues, fix customer defects, and work on feature enhancements for the patch releases.
o Work on the customer escalations to help isolate and root cause the issues in timely manner.
o Interact with core development team to seek the help of SMEs to expedite the root cause analysis of customer issues.
o Interact with customer facings teams (Level 2 / Level 3) to help troubleshoot customer issues live in customer network as and when needed.
Must have
o Requires a BS or MS in EE/CS and 10+ years of experience
o Strong technical background in layer 2 and layer 3 forwarding is required to diagnose and solve complex technical issues and provide timely solutions to customers in a professional manner.
o Expert programming skills in C/C++
o Go (Golang) knowledge and experience
o Familiarity and hands-on with docker/Kubernetes based dev. env. is required.
o Solid background in management systems, in particular REST based management
o Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization: Product Management, Technical Marketing, Field Sales, Documentation and Development Team
o Highly motivated and self-driven
o Able to collaborate cross functionally to meet challenging goals
Nice to have
o Microservices architecture knowledge and experience
o Cloud technologies, AWS knowledge and experience
o Exposure on the Cloud technologies like
- Maria DB clustering
- Messaging Services: NATS/RabbitMQ
- SQL and NoSQL
- GNMI/GRPC/NETCONF
- Shell Scripting
