Job Description :
Integration Bus (also known previously as Message Broker) - IBM has now renamed it as IBM App Connect. running Integration Bus version 10.0.0.19 currently.
This role is the support of the application functions provided, which requires a knowledgeable resource that knows Integration Bus and MQ technologies
As you can see there are many other downstream systems that rely on this data including Azure DB (aka FIonA) which is building more functionality relying on TLOG information.

The support role does not involve a heavy amount of change or incidents as it has become fairly stable. Most of the ticketing activity relates to error queues or queue depths that reach and threshold and action must be taken to replay those messages or resolve the backlog occurring. It is critical that data reach backend systems within 1 to 2 hours and that all data processing is caught up and complete before an ACIS end of day cycle begins at 1:37 am. Alerting and redundancy around this flow of data end to end is all set up, but application team members and middleware team must react to those alerts in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
Strong IBM Integration Bus skills (5+ years)

Experience in architecture principles, system integration, technical sizing, high availability aspects, integration best practices

• Integration knowledge of event based integration, pub-sub, and request-reply, synchronous-asynchronous

• Deep knowledge of Message Broker and IBM Integration Bus product in all areas (Dev,Admin).

• Nice to have IIB Administration skills, IIB certification and JAVA,J2EE background

• Analytical and problem solving skills.

• Must have experience in IBM WebSphere Message Broker, IIB 9.0 and IBM WebSphere MQ

•Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
