Luxoft Autonomous Drive (AD) is currently working on the activities in the development of platform software based on POSIX. Activities will be to understand the requirements specification and develop software architecture for the middleware software framework which includes car functions, Service registry, interface for CAN & Ethernet.

Responsibilities

---

Software architecture design: Functional, Static/Dynamic, Interfaces and Workflow
Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and requirements for software
Support software developers with detailed design, implementation and software test tasks
Collaborate with system architects and requirements engineers to create requirements analysis and effort estimation
Coordinate with different project stakeholders like customers and suppliers
Oversee and support the coaching and training of team members to ensure all necessary employees are confident in the use of software applications
Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions
Use a proactive approach to common challenges and by continually researching best practices in coding
Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace

Skills

---

Must have

University degree in Engineering, Computer Science or comparable
8+ years of relevant experience including strong skills in architecting of embedded software
Strong experience with Embedded Linux system development/engineering
Practical experience with Linux kernel space and user space (POSIX) programming in C and C++
Experience with high level design using UML 2.0 and relevant tools (EA, Rhapsody)
Outstanding collaboration and communication skill are essential
Knowledge of software development life-cycle, practical experience with related activities
Experience with Requirements Management
Proficiency in English language is required, German is an advantage

Nice to have

Knowledge of communication protocols and automotive units is an advantage
Experience with micro service-based infrastructure
Understanding of Rest services and APIs, as well as the impact of scale and performance
Experience with formal software development process (Automotive SPICE)
Knowledge of functional safety development (e.g. ISO 26262)
Experience with AUTOSAR (Classic or Adaptive Platforms)
Feature domain expertise knowledge such as embedded automotive functions,Connectivity, vehicle infotainment.
