Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

Infrastructure & Release Management
• Manages the infrastructure and environments of the microservices platform
• Performs deployment activities to production environments
• Performs IT Change Management activities
Incident & Problem Management
• Performs troubleshooting & Emergency Response
• Investigates root causes and suggest solutions
• Implements solutions & improvements
Application Maintenance
• Advises PO in capacity planning/provisioning
• Configures and maintains application & monitoring
• Identifies business objects for monitoring
Operations Continuous Improvement
• Identifies issues/optimization potentials, writes corresponding user stories
• Improves processes
• Supports with automation knowhow to reduce risk of bad changes
Service Onboarding
Supports other projects in onboarding & promotions

Skills

---

Must have

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
Technical Experience
• Good understanding of Microservices and API Management
• Experience in building / supporting Continuous Delivery pipelines
• Experience in software development
• Experience in monitoring / reporting tools such as Prometheus / Grafana / Elasticsearch / Fluentd, Kibana, etc.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure and platform components (Linux, shell scripting, DBMS, ...)
• Good Knowledge to the Software Development Life Cycle
• Experience with TeamCity, Kubernetes, Helm, GIT
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
Collaboration Skills
• Proactive can-do attitude
• A creative approach towards solving technical problems
• Able to work efficiently with colleagues in multiple locations
• Willing to collaborate across domains, for efficiency in technology sharing and reuse
• Excellent communication skills in English
