Luxoft is seeking a Test Automation Engineer for a candidate who will make their daily test automation execution easier and faster. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze the architecture of the CI/CD environment and define and implement improvements. You will part of a team that triggers test automation execution with each new software release in a real embedded environment. As part of your responsibilities, you will need to define the strategy to scale the CI/CD environment to allow new software branches, new types of testing, new features, etc.

The successful candidate will be a responsible, motivated, self-starter who is able to work alone as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

- Be part of the team to develop a CI/CD environment
- Setup the environment to trigger test automated execution in an embedded ECU.
- Documenting the created solutions on an internal wiki
- Propose improvements in the CI/CD architecture to deploy test automation
- Monitoring and maintaining the pipelines
- Work with the Tools development team, product management, and operations in an Agile environment.
- Participate in resolution of production issues and efforts toward solutions
- Opportunities to showcase your work on our tech blog and internal & external conferences

Skills

---

Must have

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Relevant experience in the related technical field as a DevOps, CI/CD, software integration / release engineer
- Experience with CI / CD (Jenkins)
- Strong experience scripting in Groovy, and bash shell
- Experience in Test Automation
- Experience with GIT/GitHub
- Experience setting up build automation and artefact repositories (Nexus)
- Experience with Configuration Management technologies
- Experience managing code branch and merge for concurrently running large programs
- Understanding of agile and other development processes and methodologies
- Understanding of C / C++

Nice to have

- Experience scripting in Python
- Experience with Docker and container-based build infrastructures
- Experience with OpenShift Container Platform
- Familiarity with database concepts
- Ability to integrate, synthesize and prioritize user demands and resolve ambiguity
- Excitement for learning new domains and new skills!
