Project for one of the global investment management firm founded in 1989 that manages approximately $35.4 billion in assets as of April 1, 2018. The firm has more than 2,400 employees with offices in the United States, Europe and Asia. Teams work collaboratively to drive the production of trading algorithms and financial strategies - the foundation of a sustainable, global trading platform.

To enable and control trading teams, we seeking leading talent to evolve and scale offerings.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining Python based framework for managing cloud assets (AWS)
- Support and manage infrastructure estate
- Monitoring the infrastructure, resolve infrastructure-related issues
- Managing Kubernetes cluster
- Develop, maintain and test salt codebase used for configuring and building hardware hosts
- Automating infrastructure management routines (incl. scripting on Python, bash)
- Setting up appropriate CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab and dashboards/alert managers for the end users

Skills

---

Must have

∙ Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
∙ Solid software development skills with Python
∙ Experience in system administration (Linux)
∙ Good Linux internals knowledge
∙ Hosts provisioning automation experience
∙ Experience with Git version control system
∙ An appetite for process re-engineering and automation
∙ Ability to find and use appropriate open source tools to achieve the set goals

Nice to have

- Managing AWS infrastructure experience
- Terraform experience
∙ Kubernetes - HA cluster set up, pod security policies and admission controllers
∙ Experience with systems and IT support on setting up CI/CD pipelines
